The Marble Poetry
I want to tell you about my journey to Agra Fort & The Taj Mahal.
The journey which has convinced me to transform my pictures in to a poetry.
The view from the window of my Camera lens, the changing Landscape of Imagination. I want to talk of moving constantly, and reaching nowhere. There is so much that has to be said what I have seen.
But words destroy what I have to say.
Sometimes you hear a voice through the door, calling you, as fish out of water hears the sound of the waves or hunting falcon hears the drums COME BACK COME BACK.
Go through this video and a voice comes to your soul saying –
Lift your foot cross over. Move into emptiness of question & answer & question…

My First F1 Experience !
I was super happy of being present at the first F1 race held in India.
Having spent the whole day along with my friend Kamal on the event was a journey in it self.
30th Oct 2011, all roads led to Buddh International Circuit at Greater Noida. Stuck for hours on roads with traffic which took us 3 hrs to reach and watch people across country having come to see this grand event which would be lasting just an hour and half.
With an average speed vrrrooming @ 225 km and max speed of 350 km/hr, all cars had to cover 60 LAPS.
Great experience of sound, deafening one's ears and lasting in the heart of every soul present there and being part of the thrill and adrenaline rush.
Got chance to click the live screeching cars on the track with high shutter speed camera and wishing to get as close as possible.
Here's a video which covers the story for all who missed.

The Celtic Play !
Had a great day shooting photographs of my daughter Prisha while she was busy playing with the drape of sun light coming through my room window.
Thank you god for gifting me this opportunity in making this fine collection and naming it a Celtic Play for my beloved.

I Am Loving it !
I am loving the whole idea of people using the social networks and defining their feelings.
While reading some articles on net and books and listening to friends on a casual chat, I too now strongly feel that Happiness does not exist as an isolated quality, nor does it conform to a single fixed pattern.
Happiness is something that breathes and lives in the relationships between one person and another.

Message on My Black Berry !
"For You Mukesh (our photographer) One Rainy day, a mom went to pick her 6 year son from school thinking that he will fear lightning.
On way, she saw him smiling at the sky for every lightning, She asked, "Why are you smiling ?"

A Good Motivation is what is needed:
A Good Motivation is what is needed: compassion without dogmatism, without complicated philosophy: just understanding that others are human brothers and sisters and respecting their human rights and dignities. That we humans can help each other is one of our unique human capacities. Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama

Gentleness !
It is clear that feelings of love, affection, closeness and compassion bring happiness. I believe that every one of us has the means to be happy, to access the warm and compassionate states of mind that bring happiness.
In fact, it is one of my fundamental beliefs now that not only do we inherently possess the potential for compassion, but the basic or underlying nature of human beings is gentleness.

A World Full of Beauty !
"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we can seek them with our eyes open." - Jawaharlal Nehru.

Inner Discipline !
Until you have the inner discipline that brings calmness of mind, external facilities and conditions will never bring the joy and happiness you seek.
On the other hand, if you possess this inner quality, calmness of mind, a degree of stability within, even if you lack the various external factors that you would normally require to be happy, it will still be possible to live happy and joyful life.

Best Way To Solve Any Problem !
I am glad to be blogging about all goodies I get to read or talk to people in my daily life and share on this blog.
I say this with respect to all I communicate and reflect to the thoughts and get to know more of such thought full people across.
Today was really special, as I shared this blog with my Father In Law for the first time as he was here in Delhi for a day visit, and we discussed philosophically on many aspects and the best which I realized was a thought of a child always stating that his father is wrong until one day that child became a father and had a son saying that he was wrong.
Later in evening another interesting thought came from a a close business associate, while discussing the threats of our market, he very well said as "spend One minute worrying about the problem, One hour finding solutions and finally a Day for implementing it."
Cheers to all who can do this ! Really a lovely thought process.

Be Wisely Selfish !
Wise people serve others sincerely, putting the needs of others above their own. Resultant you will be happier.
The kind of selfishness that provokes fighting, killing, stealing, using harsh words, forgetting other people's welfare will only result in your own loss.

Spiritual Transformation !
When ever one thinks of spiritual transformations, immediate thinking coming to one's mind is to leave every thing he/she is attached to and move away from the society or the world we are living with.
I quite like the idea of his holiness Dalai Lama, that giving up attachment to the world does not mean that you set yourself apart from it.
Generating a desire for others to be happy increases your humanity. As you become less attached to the world, you become more humane.
As the very purpose of spiritual practice is to help others, you must remain in society.

" Truth Is The Way"
Truth is eternal; truth never changes. Unlike truth, falsehoods vanish in the light of truth … as simply as the darkness vanishes when a light is turned on.
If our lives were truth driven we would be ecstatically happy, satisfied and contented. Instead, for the most part, we are ego driven, doing those things that impress others—doing things that make us appear special and important. However, it’s all a mask, hiding the way we believe and think in our heart.
Life will never get any better than it is when we are living in harmony with truth; thus, the wisdom of noted thinkers:
“Time is precious. Truth is more precious than time.” — Disraeli
“Better than living a hundred years not seeing the highest truth is one day in the life of a man who sees the highest truth.” — Buddha
“Truth is the cry of all, but the game of the few.” — George Berkeley
“Our minds possess by nature an insatiable desire to know the truth.” — Cicero
“Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.” — Thoreau
“There is nothing so powerful as the truth, and often nothing so strange.” — Daniel Webster
“Know thyself.” — Socrates … When we know ourselves, we know truth.
“Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — Jesus

Happiness & Sufferings !
"We have different degrees of happiness and different kinds of suffering.
Material objects give rise to physical happiness, while spiritual development gives rise to mental happiness.
Since we experience both physical and mental happiness, we need both material and spiritual development.
This is why, for our own good and that of society we need to balance material progress with inner development."

The Photographers Prayer
God, as I bring my subject into focus and prepare to make each portrait, never let me forget that I’m creating treasures for some family, a keepsake for loved ones. Make me sensitive to the qualities and virtues of others, that I may draw out into the light the beautiful radiant belongings of their hearts. Help me to be an artist, collecting the beauty of every soul, the glow of youth, the gentleness, the laughter or tears of each life that is precious in Your sight. Deeper than a means of livelihood, give me the perspective to see my photographer’s art as a service to others, making life richer and more memorable. And, dear Lord, between the lights and shadows, the ups and downs and the rolling years, keep me from getting out of focus or off center, so that my life and work may be framed with love and colored by your presence.

The beautiful story of life !
The beautiful story of life does not happen in poses, but in fluid moments. The best "writers of light" know how to capture the truth, be it a delicate scent, the laughter of childhood or a moment that shapes history.

What you fear is what you will draw to you !
Here is another quote that I read through the Forbes Life magazine, in love from Conversations with God. Looks innocuous, but it is actually quite profound...
"What you think is what you get.
What you fear is what you will draw to you.
What you resist, persists.
What you look at disappears - giving you a chance to recreate it all over again, if you wish, or banish it forever from your experience.
What you choose, you experience."

The 3 ways to deal with disturbing emotions
While touring in last 1 month to 5 different destinations for both leisure and business, I have been reading a book name The Way To Meaningful Life by His holiness Dalai Lama.
One piece that I really find useful and insightful in this book is:
"How to deal with disturbing emotions? Buddha advises a concerted three-step attack on this imaginary but tough enemy.
One piece that I really find useful and insightful in this book is:
"How to deal with disturbing emotions? Buddha advises a concerted three-step attack on this imaginary but tough enemy.
- First, one should avoid circumstances known to bring about unwanted feelings.
- If that is not possible, one is wise to focus on their impermanent condition and changing nature: as a certain disturbing mental state was not present earlier and will soon be gone again, it would be nonsense to act it out, thus laying the seeds for future trouble.
- The highest level is not giving power to unwanted feelings by 'letting the thief come into an empty house'. Here, one stays strictly with what is in front of one’s nose and neither acknowledges nor identifies with any disturbance. As this succeeds, one realizes, ever more consciously and with growing amazement and joy, that painful mind-states do not just vanish into nothingness but actually reappear (…) as insights beyond ego.'"

MEMORY ?
We know who we are and who other people are in terms of memory.
Lose your memory and you as you cease to exist.
If I were to believe in this after 26/11, then I would not have blogged this as for me now .........
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." Buddha
